Primary skills utilized/learned:
- Performs quality recordings of ultrasound images of the heart in order to assess cardiovascular and hemodynamic functions in children through adult patients.

Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved school of ultrasound/cardiovascular techniques
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RMCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS), or obtains registry within 1 year of hire.
- BLS Certification.
- Must have knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
- Reliable transportation to travel to satellite clinics.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in imaging stress tests
Physical Requirements:
- May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk intermittently during the day.
- May need to sit or stand for extended periods.
- See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
- Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
- Ability to lift 250-300 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to push/pull up to 500 pounds with assistance.
- Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids.
- Requires some exposure to chemicals and cleaning products.
