The Department of Psychiatry at The MetroHealth System, a teaching hospital affiliated with Case Western Reserve University, is seeking a board-certified (or board-eligible) psychiatrist to join our team. Based on our main campus, this role includes primary coverage of our psychiatry consult-liaison service with secondary coverage of emergency department psychiatry consults as needed. In this position, your patients will benefit from robust neighboring consult services including psychology and addiction medicine. The position offers opportunities for clinical program development, teaching, and academic collaboration within a multidisciplinary and mission-driven environment.
The MetroHealth System has a strong commitment to expanding access to behavioral health care across the region. As part of this mission, a 112-bed behavioral health hospital has opened in Cleveland Heights, featuring specialized adult units.
While this position is based at the main campus, it is closely connected to system-wide behavioral health services, including those at Cleveland Heights, allowing for collaboration across inpatient, outpatient, intensive outpatient and emergency settings.
