Summary:
Coordinates, oversees, and maintains all aspects of vendor instrumentation and tray processes within Sterile Processing and Perioperative Services. Ensures vendor trays are received, processed, and returned in accordance with established policies, Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses (AORN) and Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) standards, and organizational expectations. Collaborates with vendors, supply chain, operating room teams, and sterile processing staff to support timely case readiness and efficient workflow. Develops and maintains processes to support patient safety, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of the organization.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Associate degree in related field or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated below.
- Certification in CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) from CBSPD (Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution) or HSPA (Healthcare Sterile Processing Association).
- 3 years of work experience in sterile processing.
- Basic PC skills, including proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain positive working relations with other employees and medical staff.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Ability to initiate, manage, and complete multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously.
- Experience in vendor management or leadership
- Knowledge of vendor tray tracking systems.
- Process improvement experience, Six Sigma / Lean Process.
- Experience in customer service.
- Able to lift 50 pounds and pull/push up to 350 pounds
- Able to sit, stand or stoop, bend and ambulate intermittently during the day.
- May need to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- See in a normal vision range with or without correction.
- Hear in a normal audio range with or without correction.
- Ability to communicate face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications.
- Ability to see computer monitor and departmental documents with or without correction.
