Summary:
Together with Chairs and Center leadership, monitors and manages center performance against metrics (budget, quality, patient experience and population health). Shares responsibility for the oversight of all facets of daily operations, including reviewing, recommending and implementing service enhancements; managing capital, expense and revenue budget for assigned areas; establishing and maintaining an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish center goals; supervising staff and coordinating scheduling. Ensures the effective and efficient provision of patient care services, including coordination of physician, nursing, therapy and overall customer service/patient satisfaction. Develops collaborative relationships with community leaders and community centers to promote MHS service offerings. Develops and maintains systems to ensure ease of scheduling patients, efficient use of resources, both human and capital. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
Qualifications:
Required:
Graduate of an approved program of nursing and currently licensed to practice professional nursing in the State of Ohio Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Five years of progressively responsible nursing and management experience/administrative.
Excellent interpersonal skills along with experience in working with multi-disciplinary groups.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Skill in budgeting, cost analysis, workforce planning, supervision, and operational analysis.
Demonstrated evidence of continuing professional self-development.
Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Preferred:
Master's Degree in Nursing or Health related field
Experience with the operation of health care computer systems.
Certification in clinical specialty or in nursing administration.
Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk intermittently during the day. May sit or stand for extended periods of time. Ability to use computer. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job-related documents.
