Summary:


The Specialty Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator assists with maintaining the specialty pharmacy business in accordance with departmental standards, internal and external reporting requirements, and accreditation standards. Provides Pharmacy Services at a proficient level of Pharmacy practice. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Qualifications:

Required:

Current Pharmacist License in State of Ohio APhA Pharmacist-Based Immunization Certification

2 years retail pharmacy experience Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Certified Specialty Pharmacist board certification or 3 years of Specialty Pharmacy experience

Preferred:

Pharm.D degree and/or American Society of Health Systems Pharmacists accredited residency.

Certified Specialty Pharmacist (CSP) credentialed.

Demonstrated effectiveness in time management, supervision of support staff, problem identification and resolution and decision making.

Demonstrated knowledge of and in-depth experience operating, implementing and supervising a successful Patient Management Program.

Strong attention to detail, highly entrepreneurial, creative, open minded, persistent, highly collaborative and passion for and understanding of Patient Management Program.

Demonstrated increased level of communication skills, including excellent customer service skills.

Previous experience and demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Specialty Pharmacy preferred.
