Summary:
Provides administrative, public health focused oversight for all HIV Prevention grants for the Division of Infectious Disease. Ensures excellent grant stewardship by timely completion of all administrative and reporting requirements and grant deliverables for all HIV prevention funding. Supervises HIV Prevention staff. Coordinates MetroHealth's overall HIV Prevention strategies. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
Qualifications:
Required: Master's Degree or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated below. 5 Years of experience with LGBTQI+, BIPOC, and/or HIV-prevention communities. 3 Years of experience in a health care environment. Current Ohio Driver's License along with a safe driving record that does not exceed 6 points. Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to think abstractly and to embrace change. Ability to work a flexible schedule including some evenings or weekends. Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds, including a diverse urban population. Preferred: Previous supervisory experience. 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting. Bilingual or multilingual skills. Physical Demands: May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating. May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job related documents. Ability to use computer.
