Hematology Oncology - Breast Solid Tumor Focus

The Division of Hematology/Oncology in the Department of Medicine, the MetroHealth System and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine is seeking full-time, academic faculty members at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level with a focus on solid tumor oncology. Specialty interest in breast is preferred. Applicants should possess excellent clinical skills, and have a strong interest in teaching, research, and active collaboration in multidisciplinary patient care. The qualified applicant must hold an MD or DO degree. All individuals will have completed a fellowship in adult oncology and be board certified or board eligible in oncology.  

The Division of Hematology/Oncology has a growing faculty, with practices in multiple locations in the metropolitan Cleveland area. The division comprises of hematology/bone marrow transplant section, solid tumor section, and community oncology section led by the division chief. All cancer operations report to the Executive director of the cancer center.  The essential functions of the position are to provide inpatient and outpatient consultations, longitudinal patient care, teaching and mentoring of internal medicine residents, hematology/oncology fellows, and medical students. Active interest and participation in clinical trials is strongly desired. The successful candidate will have an appointment to the medical faculty of the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Final rank and salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
