Shift: Mon through Friday, 8-430 flex hours as needed

Summary:
Provides high-level administrative support for an assigned Vice President, Physician Executive, Executive Director, Service Line Administrator and/or Chairperson. Ensures efficient handling of the communications and record keeping requirements of the office. Participates and coordinates in special projects and other activities. Compiles and analyzes information and statistics for identification of conditions worthy of management awareness. Acts as liaison for assigned leader. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
Qualifications:
Required: High school diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam. Progressive administrative support experience or experience performing duties relevant to the position. High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Experience with information gathering and information distribution. Ability to perform complex tasks and prioritize multiple projects. Appropriate corporate decorum, tact, and social sensitivity necessary to the status of the position. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Preferred: Bachelor's Degree or completion of college level coursework Experience providing administrative support to a senior leader. Experience in a healthcare setting. Physical Demands: May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating. May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job related documents. Ability to use computer.
