Manager Workforce Planning - Talent Management

Summary:


Manages the ongoing development and implementation of initiatives and programs related to workforce planning, individual development, mobility, and succession planning. Develops data-driven strategies, and facilitates initiatives related to talent mobility and internal pipeline programs. Collaborates with leaders and business partners to design, develop, evaluate, and adopt succession plans and innovative workforce solutions. Executes strategies with collaborative partners to retain, develop, and foster movement of the best talent at The MetroHealth System. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Qualifications:

Required: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related degree, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated below. Five years of experience in Workforce Development, Learning and Development, or Organizational Effectiveness. Independently manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, including prioritization, timeline, risks, execution, and communication. Proactive in risk management and communication. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, and an ability to understand and communicate concepts quickly and accurately. Experience identifying vendor partners, implementing their solutions, and customizing and/or providing guidance for internal delivery, as needed. Ability to work individually or on a collaborative team in a fast-paced and continually evolving environment. Demonstrated problem-solving acumen to assess/analyze a current state and recommend/implement improvements or alternative practices. Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Preferred: Healthcare experience with a major hospital system. Certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Society for Human Resource Management - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), or SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). Physical Requirements: May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, via phone, email, and other communications. Ability to see computer monitor and departmental documents.
