Primary Care Ambulatory APRN

Summary:

Delivers direct patient care consistent with the advanced practice registered nurses education, experience and certification, in collaboration with a physician, which includes diagnosis, management and/or referral of health care issues. Promotes consumer, family, and community health through preventative health care actions and through patient advocacy. The advanced practice registered nurse may also manage complex illnesses and/or deliver specialty care.

 

Qualifications:

Required: One or more years of experience practicing as an APRN. Family Medicine certification. MSN or grandfathered under Ohio Revised Code Graduate of an accredited advanced practice registered nurse program. Current registered nurse licensure in the state of Ohio. Certificate of Authority as an Advanced Practice Nurse from the Ohio Board of Nursing Certification as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in specialty. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or obtains within 90 days of hire. Obtains other advanced life support certifications applicable to practice area within 180 days of hire. Maintains a standard care arrangement and renews/signs it as required by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
