Process Improvement Specialist - Care Management Admin
Location: BROOKLYN HEIGHTS
Biweekly Hours: 80.00
Shift: 0800-1630

Summary:
Oversees, promotes and participates in the implementation of quality improvement strategies throughout The MetroHealth System as they relate to population health, value based contracts and risk contracts. Manages, analyzes, documents, validates and reports quality data and submissions to external agencies. Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to promote regulatory, evidence-based practice, quality and safety processes. Provides assistance to hospital departments to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory standards and value based contracts. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System
Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor's Degree in public health, nursing, health administration, or related field or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated below. If a Registered Nurse, possesses a valid Ohio license. Relevant, professional experience in a clinical or administrative role. Experience leading new initiatives. Working knowledge of quality measures, clinical informatics, population health metrics, data management, and/or relevant regulatory requirements. Strong interpersonal, leadership, analytical, critical thinking, and time management skills. Well-developed verbal, written, and presentation skills. High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and hospital information systems. Preferred: Master's Degree in a related field. Three years quality improvement experience, experience working in value based plans. Progressive leadership or management experience. Certified Professional in Heatlhcare Quality (CPHQ). Formal process improvement training. Knowledge of EPIC functionality. Knowledge of case management software. Physical Demands: May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating. May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job related documents. Ability to use computer.
