Summary:
Performs and oversees diverse and complex project management duties that require high accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality. Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Population Health Research Institute and the Project Primary Investigator(s) at MetroHealth, the Project Lead assists with project management and facilitation of multiple teams. Develops and manages project timelines and budgets across multiple institutions, coordinates project logistics and supports communication efforts, including work plans, schedules, tasks, resources, and deliverables. Develops relationships with and works across programs, partner organizations, and other key stakeholders to meet project deliverables and mitigate risks. Identifies potential funding sources and assists with grant proposals for future programs and projects with an emphasis on population and community health. Develops and monitors grant budgets, expenditures, and overall budget performance. Leads and is accountable for daily program operations, including personnel, administrative functions, and budgetary oversight. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor's Degree or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated below. Five years of experience with program development, implementation, and management, including overseeing multiple project teams. Ability to manage and meet aggressive deadlines and perform multiple tasks at once. Ability to effectively facilitate large group meetings Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed. Ability to write and monitor grant proposals and budgets and prepare reports as required and upon request. Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with personnel from various disciplines. Demonstrated proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). Database management and maintenance experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent time management practices and organizational skills. In-depth understanding of and proven experience with operational procedures and processes. Ability to travel locally and statewide as needed. Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Preferred: Project management professional (PMP) certification Master's degree in Business Administration or Public Health or related field. CREC certified with research experience assessing/analyzing clinical outcomes. Experience interacting with health systems and payers. Marketing and communications experience, including IT/web proficiency, digital/social media. Physical Demands: May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating. May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing. Ability to communicate face-to-face, via phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job-related documents. Dexterity to use a computer.
