Supply Chain Contract Associate - Sourcing & Contracting

Shift: 8-4:30pm

Summary:


Supports Supply Chain Contract Specialist in day to day administration tasks with contracts. Analyzes supply chain contracts to improve processes, performance, and to reduce costs and waste. Work with contract sourcing and legal teams to assist in contract process at MetroHealth. May perform analysis on product conversion responsibilities including ad hoc price management coordination with Supply Chain Analysts on Data Integrity Team. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field. In lieu of degree, will consider 4 years of relevant Supply Chain experience. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with supply chain/ERP systems. Possesses strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills. Excellent analytical and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to positively interact with various constituencies, both within and outside the organization. Reliable transportation to travel to designated MetroHealth locations. Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Preferred: Previous experience in a health care environment. Lean certification or related work experience.

Physical Demands: May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating. May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job related documents. Ability to use computer.
