Systems Analyst I - Clinical Ancillary

Location: MetroHealth Old Brooklyn Campus

Biweekly Hours: 80.00

Shift: M - F 8am - 5pm (Flexible Start)

Summary:


Entry level position, acts under general direction. Analyzes procedures and problems within manual/automated health care systems; reports findings and when applicable recommends options for resolutions. Provides application support and systems development for designated departments. Confers with professional staff to ascertain specific requirements and assists in the completion of programming specifications. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Qualifications:

Required: Associate's Degree in a related field or in lieu of degree, minimum two years' experience using or installing systems relative to the assigned area of responsibility. Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group. Office environment with travel to satellite locations and/or vendor sites. Subject to on-call. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Hospital Administration, Clinical degree or related discipline. Experience in any of the major healthcare applications such as Epic, Lawson, Kronos or OnBase. Experience in a healthcare setting. General understanding of entire software development process, including specification, documentation, and quality assurance. Experience with Microsoft Professional DeskTop Suite. Physical Demands: May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating. May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job related documents. Ability to use computer.
