340B Auditor - Pharmacy Dept Services

Summary:


Under the direction of the Director - 340B Program, performs compliance-related activities on systems and processes governed by 340B statute, HRSA Guidance, Medicaid and Medicare billing requirements, and MetroHealth Policy. Conducts audits as described in the audit plan and communicates the status of compliance program accomplishments to the management team and other pertinent parties. Educates employee groups on compliance matters and assists with resolving customer service issues. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Qualifications:

Qualifications: Required: Meets one of the following: • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Business, Finance, Accounting, or other related field, and 2 years of relevant work experience • Associate degree in Business or other healthcare-related field, and 5 years of relevant work experience. • Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that equates to one of the aforementioned requirements. Knowledge of the 340B drug program. Strong quantitative and analytical skills. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to demonstrate proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to demonstrate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel including statistical and comparative analysis. Access to reliable transportation to travel to other sites within The MetroHealth System based on operational needs. Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Preferred: Master's Degree in Business, Public Administration, or other related degree. Experience in healthcare compliance. Experience working in an auditing capacity. Current Certified Professional Coder (CPC). Working knowledge of financial accounting and billing procedures. Physical Requirements: May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to see computer monitor and departmental documents.
