Summary:


Provides specific guidelines and assistance in departmental procedures to team members and holds staff accountable for department compliance. Assists management with the assignment and allocation of workflow to ensure efficiency and effectiveness; makes recommendations regarding new and improved systems; oversees and approves schedule to ensure 24-hour, seven-day-a-week coverage.

Qualifications:

Required: EMT or EMT-P certification. Three years of dispatch experience. Demonstrated leadership skills. Strong organizational skills and customer service orientation. Demonstrated proficiency with a PC. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Preferred: Associate Degree in Business. Flight Communications experience. Physical Demands: May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating. May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job-related documents. Ability to use a computer.
