S ummary:

Organizes the clinical work for assigned patient population(s), and coordinates activities for the Social Work Department and related programs as directed by management. Must be skilled in the provision of patient therapy for children through adult patient populations. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.


Required: Master's Degree in Social Work from an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. Possess a current Social Work licensure for the State of Ohio, or obtains licensure by next exam period. Preferred: Demonstrated clinical skills with individuals and groups.Physical Requirements: May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications.
