Summary:
Develops and oversees strategies to manage and improve the healthcare of MetroHealth patient populations. Provides administrative leadership to the Department of Care Coordination, which oversees care coordination functions to improve health outcomes for both outpatients and inpatients. Coordinates strategies that will impact patients in all risk and non-risk models, including, but not limited to the MetroHealth ACO, MetroHealth employee health plan, direct contracting employers and other programs. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
Qualifications:
Required:
Master's degree in nursing and valid Ohio Registered Nurse licensure.
5 years progressive management experience in a healthcare related organization.
Recent experience in care management.
Experience leading new initiatives.
Knowledge of and experience with hospital information systems.
Knowledge of and experience with using financial systems to analyze financial performance.
Demonstrated initiative and evidence of continuing professional development.
Well-developed verbal and written communication.
Strong analytical skills.
Knowledge of and experience with the legal review of contracts.
Ability to interact effectively with various cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Preferred:
10 years progressive management experience in a healthcare related organization.
Hospital and physician practice managed care experience.
Knowledge of and experience with using financial systems to analyze financial performance.
Physical Demands: May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating. May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job related documents. Ability to use computer.
