Summary:
Provides comprehensive operational and technical Information Technology support to all Information Services users within The MetroHealth System. Answers questions or resolves Information Technology Endpoint problems for customers in person, via telephone, or from remote locations to include use of remote access/assistance applications. Delivers new Information Technology Endpoint equipment and services, relocates equipment, performs preventive maintenance, and maintains asset inventory on a routine basis. Enters, tracks, and updates all assignments using the assigned Information Services project, problem, and asset management reporting systems. Information Technology Endpoint equipment consists of, but is not limited to: desktops, laptops, thin clients, printers, scanners, barcode readers, monitors, etc. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
Qualifications:
Required: High school diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam. Working knowledge of Microsoft networking and Windows Operating Systems. Working knowledge of various MS Office products (O365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Access, Outlook). Working Knowledge of Information Technology Endpoints (Hardware/Software) Working Knowledge of Data Network and telecommunications technologies. Demonstrates initiative, with an ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Excellent oral and written communication skills, and superior customer service skills. Detail oriented and excellent analytical/organizational skills. Working knowledge of project management principles. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various MetroHealth sites/facilities. Preferred: Possesses one of the following education/experience qualifications: • Associate degree in Computer Science or related field and two years related work experience. • An industry recognized information technology, telecommunications, or electronics certification and two years of related work experience. Experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager. Experience with Information Technology Endpoint Hardware repair. Experience in large enterprise environments that include multiple site locations. A+ Certification, N+ Certification, or Microsoft Certification is highly desirable. Physical Demands: Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds (equipment). May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating. May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job related documents.
