Location: METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER
Biweekly Hours: 80.00
Shift: 8:30-5:00

Summary:
Supports the work of the Center for Arts in Health through the oversight and delivery of key programmatic interventions and activities for MetroHealth patients, staff, and communities of interest. Administers a portfolio of projects and relationships, furthering the vision and strategic direction, while also processing details in a professional, organized, and timely manner. Possesses knowledge and skills in arts and health, program design, evaluation, and administration, with an ability to build and maintain productive relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders and partners. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor's degree in arts management, non-profit management, the arts, arts education, community development, public administration, or related field. In lieu of degree, any combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated below. 5 years of experience in arts management, non-profit management, the arts, arts education, community development, public administration, or related field. Previous program management experience. Excellent interpersonal skills and facilitative skills. Demonstrated administrative and leadership skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong ability to multi-task and to work independently, and as a member of a team. Development and administration of programs for community-based initiatives. Proven problem-solving and organizational skills. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications. Strong time management and project management skills. Demonstrated success in building positive relationships with colleagues, volunteers, and staff. Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Preferred: Master's degree in arts in health, arts management, non-profit management, the arts, arts education, community development, public administration, or related field. Arts in Health certification. Excellence in public speaking, presentations and teaching in community and professional settings. Understanding of trauma informed care and principles, the social determinants of health and place-based community health strategies. Physical Demands: May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to see computer monitor and departmental documents.
