Summary:
Assumes responsibility for the efficient and effective operation of any assigned Imaging area(s). Ensures the provisioning of appropriate service to patients. Must be skilled in the provisioning of patient care to infant through adult patient populations. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
Qualifications:
Required: HS Diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam. Proven completion of a two year course in an American Medical Association (AMA) approved School of Radiologic Technology. Current a Registered Technologist (RT) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as required for the area of imaging being managed. Possess a current Radiologic Licensure through the Ohio Department of Health. Minimum 3 years of experience in Radiology. Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in HealthCare or other related field. Five years of experience in Radiology.Physical Requirements: May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. Ability to see computer monitor and departmental documents. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to use computer. Physical Demands:
