MOHS SURGERY SPECIALIST PRN-Dermatology

Shift: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

Summary:


Manages the efficient operation and delivery of MOHS histology and pathology services, in a manner consistent with institutional and departmental goals. Manages the compliance and quality of the Dermatology Surgery Mohs program as assigned to optimize patient care service levels. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Qualifications:

Required: Associate degree in a related filed. In lieu of degree, any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated below Five years of experience as a laboratory-based technologist with Mohs experience preferred. Analytical aptitude to resolve operational problems. Experience in windows-based applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, etc.). Requires a high level of interpersonal and communication skills with effective leadership abilities. Preferred: Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology or related field. Certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists commensurate with area(s) of responsibility Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May sit or stand for extended periods of time. Ability to use computer. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job-related documents.
