Summary:
Assists with and provides infant through adult patient care under the direction of a professional Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. Performs only those tasks listed in the skills list and for which clinical theory and practice have been completed.
Qualifications:
Qualifications: Required: Actively enrolled and in good standing in an accredited school for Licensed Practical Nursing, completed fundamentals of nursing, and is currently enrolled in clinical. Continuous enrollment in a nursing program or a graduate of a nursing program and board eligible. BLS Certification from the AHA for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire. Eligibility to continue in the position lasts for a maximum of 6 months after graduation from nursing school. Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Preferred: None
