Primary Patient Population:
• Congestive Heart Failure
• COPD
• DKA
• Sepsis
Personnel Nurse Manager will work with:
• RNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, PT, OT, Social Work
Number of beds on unit:
• 14 beds

Qualifications:
Required:
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN).
Current registered nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
3 years of clinical experience including experience as a preceptor, charge nurse, or committee leader
Demonstrates strong interpersonal, verbal/written communication, delegation, and problem-solving skills.
Nursing certification in specialty area or in nursing management/leadership (e.g., CNML, NE-BC). Current AHA certification(s) relevant to clinical practice area (as outlined in the RN Clinical Nurse job description).
Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Preferred:
Master's degree in nursing or another health-related field.
Physical Demand: May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating. May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job related documents. Ability to use computer.
