ACADEMIC ORTHOPAEDIC HAND AND UPPER EXTREMITY SURGERY

The Department of Orthopedic Surgery at MetroHealth Medical Center is excited about an opportunity for an academic orthopedic hand surgeon. MetroHealth Medical Center is a nationally recognized Level 1 Trauma Center with a robust elective upper extremity practice. The Upper Extremity Service is a combined orthopedic and plastic surgery effort with primary teaching responsibilities for the Case Western Reserve University Departments of Orthopedic and Plastics. We are also a primary partner with the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in the Cleveland Combined Hand Fellowship. There are opportunities to participate in NIH, DOD, and DARPA funded research programs. The practice cares for traumatic and conditions from microvascular problems to shoulder arthroplasty.
Applicants must be board certified or eligible and have completed an ACGME accredited Hand Fellowship by the time of employment. Faculty academic rank will be commensurate with academic experience, research, and teaching activities. The institution offers competitive salary and benefit packages dependent upon rank and position.
