Summary:
Responsible for gathering information, setting up and calibrating the polysomnograms and ancillary equipment under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor, monitoring and recording overnight test procedures as well as scoring polysomnograms on infant through adult patients. Adheres to the customer service standards as set forth by the MetroHealth Medical Center.
Qualifications:
Required: Graduate of an accredited sleep or EEG program, or six months of sleep experience, or licensed Certified Respiratory Therapist, enabling employee to be registry eligible. Must submit Certificate of completion of an accredited sleep or EEG program within one year of hire. Must complete Polysomnography registry within two years of hire. Must be certified in BLS. Basic computer competence using Windows and data entry skills. Preferred: ACLS certification. One year sleep lab experience. Physical Demands:
