Summary:
Supports the clinical assessment needs of Psychologists in The MetroHealth System. Processes assessment intakes, and triages assessments to the appropriate department/clinic/provider. Administers appropriate psychological tests, and scores/compiles those test results. Analyzes test results and prepares written summaries for review. Maintaining test materials, evaluation rooms, and equipment. Prepares/finalizes clinical documentation. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or another social service/science area, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated below. Evidence of experience with psychological testing or evidence of coursework related to psychological testing. Proficient skills with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to work independently or with an interdisciplinary treatment team. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate clinical information to a diverse patient population. Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Preferred: Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, School Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or Psychometry. 1 year of experience with psychological testing. Familiarity with the Epic Medical Record System. Fluency in writing, speaking, and interpreting both English and Spanish. Specialist in Psychometry Certification issued by The Board of Certified Psychometrists (BCP).
Physical Demands: May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to see computer monitor and departmental documents.
