Summary:
Supports initiatives for the Institute for H.O.P.E.TM and all the Centers within the Institute. Works independently on a variety of functions that support the department's mission & vision. Contributes to organizational and department effectiveness, including but not limited to formalizing and maintaining partner relationships, ensuring adherence to timelines, tracking budgets, ensuring that department-specific policies/protocols are being followed, and orienting new employees within the department as needed. Leads communication efforts and other outreach activities associated with the department. Provides operational and system guidance on implementation of programming. Identify resources for project execution by consulting in defining project scopes/objectives, creating/maintaining project documentation, and incorporating management requirements. Organizes/tracks workflows, committee decisions, and related expenditures. Works closely with departmental coordinators to ensure overall departmental success.
Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated below At least three years of related experience in healthcare and/or public service environment. Proven ability to interact credibly and effectively with all levels of the organization. Demonstrated experience in effectively facilitating small and large group interactions. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high attention to detail and follow through. Demonstrated program project management and program development experience. Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal skills. Ability to think strategically. Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Preferred: None Physical Requirements: May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to see computer monitor and departmental documents.
